Hunting Brook Gardens
East Ireland | County Wicklow
Hunting Brook Gardens are situated on Lamb Hill near Blessington in the footsteps of the Wicklow Mountains. They were designed and created from scratch on one of the fields of the family farm by Jimi Blake, who is a well-known figure in Irish and international gardening. Since 2003 the gardens are in constant development and expansion. There are many rare plants that were grown from seeds collected during Jimi's foreign expeditions. In the center of the main garden, there is a log cabin which is Jimi's home as also venue for many events like courses and presentations he runs. The garden stuns with a variety of colors and plants that are planted so densely that you will not find a piece of empty space. In addition to the main garden there are also woodlands with Valley Garden and wildflower meadow where you can find ancient standing stone.
